February 24, 201610 yr comment_441483 Hi all, I have installed a honeywell galaxy flex V3 and everything works like a charm. While using it we are running into some trouble where hopefully someone can help: When the alarm is set and we enter via the front door, we would like the keypad to beep as a reminder the alarm is set. At the moment it remains silent and we forget the alarm is set, only to be reminded by a lot of noise after 30 seconds entry timer. Is it possible to have an audible entry timer? preferably from the keypad off course? Thanks, Mike Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/39787-alert-when-entering-galaxy-flex-v3/ Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 February 24, 201610 yr comment_441487 Keypads normally have a volume control to give you the tones and the speaker connection is for the internal sounder aswell as the entry tones and set tone Perhaps volume is set to off , what keypad is it ? It is possible you havnt set the zones up correctly aswell, front door should be set as a "final" zone type , but sound asthough you have no exit time either? Hence look at volume control Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/39787-alert-when-entering-galaxy-flex-v3/#findComment-441487 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 February 24, 201610 yr comment_441506 Check the Dd243 menu in parameters, I bet it's set to disable keypad during the entry time. It's defaulted to this if it's a Tyco panel. Doesn't that just disable the buttons and not the tones? Pretty sure the volume controls are still active...
