February 3, 201610 yr comment_439778 Had this system for a while but after christmas sound stopped on keypad, got that back..But now keypad will not accept code or orignal code (0123)...Found battery is pushing just over 8 volts (should be 12) but with this disconnected still will not accept any code...Is their a master over ride?; Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/39706-keypad-and-accenta-g3/ Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 February 3, 201610 yr comment_439803 Even with main power connected...It has never been on battery power If the battery was connected to the control panel it would be drawing more current than the system is designed to supply, cooking the charging circuit. The system is designed to be powered from the battery and the PSU is constantly charging the battery.
