November 17, 201510 yr comment_434912 I have recently installed a advanced addressable fire panel which worked fine....until I fitted the network card for a repeater panel! Soon as I fitted the card the panel blew Thrones Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/39362-advanced-fire-panel-with-network-card/ Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 November 17, 201510 yr comment_434916 Are you trying to hot plug the card on? IE with the panel powered up? Should always down power when making hardware changes. Check you have the pins aligned correctly, too. Could potentially be a dodgy network card if it's the same one. November 17, 201510 yr comment_434917 It's always best to fit cards with the panel powered down, if it blew as soon as you plugged them in I would suggest a short across a couple of the pins.
