Rubble1952
On a grade 3 system, is there anything in regs about if a roller shutter is about 3.5m wide it requires contact's on either side. Some jobs it has been asked for others say not. I know that if you put more than one contact on it would have to be on same zone. charlie6
Don't know anything about regs, but common sense would tell me, in this case. that two contacts are better than one. That said, I think we have discussed this issue in another thread.. I may have responded differently in that one for some reason. Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/38821-contacts-on-roller-shutter-doors/#findComment-424909 Share on other sites

charlie6
Admin, now I'm seeing Quals AND Regs...So the qualification has to pass the regulation, is that correct ?
