gregob
Break Glass Unit for access control system. Is there any regulations to say if you can or can not have a timed self resetting BGU on an access control system Edited April 20, 2015 by gregob
Amps
All to do with the risk assessment imo.
gregob
Also is there a timed reset BGU on the market
morph
Why would you want a bgu that resets after a set time, you couldnt possibly know if the original reason for breaking it was still there without physically checking it. If your checking it there is no reason not to reset it manually. Timed reset on a bgu smacks of ducking responsibility, type of job not to get involved in.
gregob
Its for door entry systems on communal entrances of residential flats. Residents using BGU for no reason at all then there's a charge for maintainers to attend site to reset unit
