I enjoy tinkering and yes I totally agree that a Galaxy 520 in a domestic is way OTT as is a smoke cloak in the garage/workshop/office but it's good fun

 

I do have another query if anyone fances a stab in the dark with it

 

I am getting a message on the normal Mk7 rkp when setting which says "2 RF TO CHECK" and when I scroll through them it is the two smoke detectors that are listed.  On checking them they are both showing 10/10 for signal strength so I'm confused about what it wants me to 'check' exactly!

Rf check , supervision loss? Perhaps battery low? Is there anything else in the log? (Detailed)

What receiver are you using out of curiosity?

Just thought if not that does it ask you to view?

Typical! I just tried to replicate it so I can grab screenshots from the Online keypad and lo and behold it doesn't do it!

 

There's nothing in the logs at all which is strange.

 

I'll try and describe it from memory.

 

When trying to set the rkp says "2 RF TO CHECK    Press ENT or < > to view" or something similar.

 

Pressing Ent begins setting

 

pressing < or > cycles through 2 zones... 1051 Smoke Up FIRE and 1052 Smoke Down FIRE

 

When it happens again I'll grab some screenshots.

Then you might have some zones set to precheck

Has it always done this or just started recently?

Burnt the toast needs manager code to reset

 

Check reset levels
