Hi

Does anybody have any experience of the Risco LightSys ?

Is it any good and will it send SMS over PSTN or does it need the gsm module ?

All comments and advice greatly appreciated

Ok , would this give me any benefits etc over PSTN apart from the obvious availability of communication path ?

Fitted a few of the lightsys 2 they seem ok, much easier to programme if you do it via laptop.

You will have to fit a gsm unit if you want to send texts.  If you want it to send voice messages you will need to fit a voice module.

I really like it to be honest, you wont find many risco fans on this forum though which is a shame.

No one seen Arf since March then? If this didnt bring him out, nothing will!

So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands

Cubit gave an inch, Arf took 4mm...
