July 16, 201312 yr comment_333404 hi guys hope your well. here is 1 for you, honeywell GD96. network 1 has 1 leg with 1 touch screen and 2 rios on it. network 2 has 2 leds on it, 1 is wired to a RF portal which is 3 feet away from panel and the other leg has 1 touch screen and 2 rios on it. the 680 resistor is disabled in the panel on network 2. customer reported that it was showing faults with missing mods. went to site and did a RRS, it was showing it had lots communication with the touch screen and 2 rios on network 2 but it still had 100% communication with the RF portal. everything on network 2 was wired and live but not communicating with the panel RRS showed memory was ok and all items on network 1 was 100%. I rebooted the panel and all was then fine and is still working fine 2 days later but still no idea as to why this happend? am i missing anything here? July 16, 201312 yr comment_333420 I would check the battery, if the mains dips out for only a few seconds and the battery is not up to the job, could cause the micro to get "stuck", just a thought amealing@texe.com Head of Industry Affairs Visit Our Website Texecom Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/34959-honeywell-gd96/#findComment-333420 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 July 16, 201312 yr comment_333432 Was thinking the same, had new yuasa fail after a week the other day! If the issue has only just presented for the first time, and the battery has been changed, seems like too much of a coincidence to me amealing@texe.com Head of Industry Affairs Visit Our Website Texecom Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/34959-honeywell-gd96/#findComment-333432 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 July 16, 201312 yr comment_333433 New battery today, plugged onto g2. Panel went crazy . Bells ruining date and time reset. Thought I'd messed up polarity at first. Tested for voltage and had 4v and wouldn't power meter. Gave it a shake and it sounded like a baby's rattle. Very strange.
