Live Dummy, To Sign Or Not To Sign

Recommended Posts

Hundreds of them being sold on the www, some legit I suspect but some not, but yes I'd agree and would agree the selling of dummy's to be damaging and also be looking to have the logo as an intellectual proprtey(?) and to be removed and replaced with a blank on all terminations.

ADT threatened me for selling brand new bell boxs on ebay and bangged on about interlectual property.

Probably more than that as he is going to have to sort out psu for it too

Like i said, it would end up half the cost of a proper system.

Client would be better off having a diy handy man do it than an alarm eng.

I really can't be ar**** with it anymore.

LED jobby off ebay and parallel up some batteries, wrap it in insulating tape and bobs your uncle.

Get the flashing leds they last years, surprised they are not available supplied in cheap bell box and solar powered tbh

If you charge anything less than £80 for it it's not worth your time.

Even for advertising your company? Never going to false alarm at least, always drill through and fit internal battery box.

I would of just hung up the phone.

Half of sales is just getting trusted and getting your foot in the door, depends where it is imho, but why turn down an opportunity to up-sell or capture neighbours?
