Would that second image benefit from a decent WDR camera as it's facing the light, or is there a bit more to it than that?

with that particular image....I'd say a bit more than WDR is needed!

What we do is show the customers both our cheapest analog system (what they think they want) and also a nice but competitively priced megapixel system - the price difference is not that huge anymore so the ones that care about quality will usually go for the ip system.

I wish more of my customer would do that. What megapixel stuff do you spec?
