FP acts differently with trackers as you probably know and is also sheilded better than alarm cable.

Or did I miss something?

it does,but those cables wont get damaged,i do intruder the same...over engineered maybe..

Intruder would be like that in cases of a similar situation.

But not needed the entire lengths. I am sure you know this.

Running in that sized conduit is over engineering for alarms, you can use smaller.

 

Now I know why your tracker is inconsistant.

maybe ox mate,thats how i install,ive crawled around many sites with my tracer looking for cable faults,gets you so in the right direction before your pulling at cables..just my opinion mind..

Nah, thats the part I enjoy more than the install. Although a nice neat one does bring a smile at handover.

i like both tbh mate,nothing better than finding a pig of a fault,the same can be said for screwing stuff to walls..

like i said i protect my cables,where possible..but im just a installer monkey at heart..
