Ive just purchased one of these dialers, does anyone have one? If so can anyone make sence of the intructions to set them up?

Im going to need the luck, Been trying for the last hour and half in everyday possible to get this device to call out but no luck! You can hear the relay clicking on an attempt to call out but that's as far as it goes, these things do work but I believe this one may be faulty.

I'd send it back and buy a honeywell informer if budget or an sd1 if not

Yh, The thing is im outta work at the moment and not due to get back in untill the end of this month, this was a cheap option, Funny enough, My whole house alarm is honeywell.

Its often a false economy to by cheap stuff. Sorry. I'd cut your losses now

Unless they have updated the SD1, don't get that one, get the SD1+.

The difference, if power is removed, the SD1 looses its programming, the SD1+ does not.

I like the way it has a speeker on it.
