J_G
Customer called me today and asked can he have a camera in reception on a school, solely for viewing the front door when the doorbell is pressed. Easy enough.... no recording, view only..... He then asked can we have another camera on a gate around the corner only for viewing purposes on the same monitor? Is this possible without a second monitor or some kind of multiplexer? no recording just viewing for reception staff... Thanks in advance
fozzies
Some monitors have two inputs, and buttons on the front to switch between them?
breff
Or use a 2 way switcher, or a quad if you want both seen at the same time The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! (Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not)
norman
Get a PIP unit if they don't want 2 monitors. Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
PeterJames
Just buy a quad, though they have gone up in price since the demand for them is not so high, alternately you may find a DVR without HDD cheaper
