March 26, 201214 yr Author comment_282597 Sorry for bumping this thread, but I thought I'd let you know that I spent some time in my shed and got the camera working! I'm not a professional CCTV installer, so this is the most advanced camera I've played with! From the instructions that I managed to download I found that when I opened up the weatherproof cap on the front of the arm (supporting the dome) the original coloured wires were joined onto the wires that I was seeing coming out of the bottom end of the arm - hence the different colours, and utter confusion! An expert would probably have spotted this right away!!! LOL Anyway, this weekend I plan to get the SDS drill out and mount the PTZ on the corner of my house, and use a cat5 cable to get to my DS2. I've already wired it up, so I know it works. Thanks for everyones help again.
