2 Keyholder Requirement An Issue - Any Advice?

Featured Replies

I understand it, there is no encumbrance on the Police to attend an automatic alarm call at all, they can decide to ignore.

While I'd think it rare, it is theit decision and worth while pointing out.

cubit, re my point

the issue is when its a break in through a roof or rear door and the front of the property looks secure. They assume falase alarm and when keyholder doesnt attend in a reasonable time frame they can and do go. When its obvious its a breakin they want to catch them as much as we do, but as you can imagine it isnt always obvious. Ive turned up to a reset with coppers still there and spotted perps on the roof, police hadnt and could of gone, it was only cos they wanted the log info they had hung about.

west mids do not hang around for ever, i suppose it depends on the demands on the region etc.
