As said before, prem outputs can be configured to pretty much anyway you need.

dont matter whether 12 pos or 12 neg drop one or the other off that will reset viper forget the set? :unsure:

Yes. I'd personally drop the 12v, if your dropping it to a few detectors i'd bang it through a relay to be safe
