Hi i have installed an ade gen 4

i have 1 door contact and 2 pirs

i have zone 1 as the door contact zone 2 as 1 pir which you have to pass to get to the panel

zone 3 is a pir at the rear of the property

i have programed it to program 1

my problem is when i walk test zone 1 zone 3 lights up as well and visa versa

the door contact has 2 wires and each pir has 6 wires with the taps wired in series to the tamp teminals adjacent to zone 8

any ideas what i could have done wrong is i a programming problem?

I guess you're certain that 1 and 3 are in the correct holes?

If your sure you have Id start by taking the tamper circuit out of the panel putting a link in and walk testing it again

reckon you got your wires crossed tbo, rather than a progging issue.

agreed sounds like a wirng issue.

maybe post a picture of how you have wired your panel?

zones 1+3 sound crossed to me.

Open the door on zone 1, tap in the code and watch the zone lights, the one that on is the door

you were all right it was a Tamper issue the zones were correct but zone 3 pir had a tamper fault, strangly it set ok

but when zone 1 was triggered zone 3 went into alarm

all fixed now though
