When we do megapixel cctv we use your own in house developed unit. However this is not ideal for small systems. It works well on larger ones, but ideally I need a unit, appliance or software than can record, stream, allow for exporting on the machine. The site hasn't got a suitable pc for playback, exporting purposes etc. It also needs a monitor output of some sorts ie vga. This site only needs 3 cameras and 3 to 5 megapixel per channel. Any recommendations, budgets for the dvr is approx £2k, cos above that I may as well use our dvr.

Possibly they now want it done right. They have one of our dvr's at work and 2 mp cameras, but our dvr needs a pc. But this machine is for another site and I need to decide if our machine is the best way to go. I think in this care it may not be.

They do the full range.

Not aware of many domestic consumers looking for multi site multi operator Wan systems.

Upto 4x megapixel cameras, I'm not sure about 5mega though Ive only used it 3 mpixel cameras
