PLease, has anyone managed to connect to Ricochet with pc com (Com1/rs232) connection ..... not USB

If so please could you confirm the handshake?

yes, just the pc (com1) to the Com1 on the 32xp-w.

I assume the port on expander is for eng rkp ?

I don't think you can connect peripherals direct to the pc com.

ok, so I can use Laptop (com1)> Pc com > Premier 48 (com1) and run ricochet s/w , and it will work?

if the question is "can I program the radio attributes of an expander connected to the panel using UDL connect to panel"

Yes I believe so

Yes you can program the unit via the panel. And you can program the panel from wintex

so how are you meant to use ricochet?

The Ricochet Expander has a com port connection, you connect your usbcom/pccom to that and run the ricochet software.

I've used a usbcom to connect, haven't tried a pccom
