September 23, 201015 yr Author comment_252611 seen loads on plug tops, mainly due to sub not getting spurr in time but insisting on working system, document and advise. Only advice I gave him was get a new system, he's had the old system 11 years. This is fairly typical around here. If they are really good they use mini trunking Classy & with a bit of thought it would have been so easy to do it right. September 29, 201015 yr Author comment_253043 Nice of him to let you know!, prob gonna be to the same standard as it was before then eh cost wise Probably not even that good, the original kit was good quality it was just the installer let it down. This 1 is of the unmarked white bellbox brigade & at the price he charged I doubt anything else was quality either. Customers Love us, Intruders Hate us. September 29, 201015 yr comment_253053 like i said before, dodge the **** customers, not worth the time of day. I would bet money on the national telling him it should be put right, but he wanted a cheaper option. Otherwise he would have just changed to another approved company and got it all sorted and kept it monitored. Not a Monitored system, just 2 external sounders fitted apparently taken off monitoring a few years ago, National were servicing as is up until a short while ago. September 29, 201015 yr Author comment_253083 ...and prob documented on eng's reports. Service reports just showed readings taken on system at time of service, call out log on each sheet I saw just said that the system had been checked but no fault found. September 29, 201015 yr comment_253084 What readings were taken? Would they have been enough to trace a fault?
