Been about years, some of their first panels still going strong today. 20+ years old and still going.

Thats encouraging, when I was making enquiries about the MDT stuff I `d be surprised if theyre still afloat in 20 days time, EVERYONE I spoke with told me that once their current stock was sold they wouldnt be having anymore as their supply at present was abysimal and some hinted at unusually high amounts of faulty returned kit

Shame really

So is the Scantronic easy to install/programme? (I`ve read the users manual and it seems straight forward enough)

mosaic...

So thats another nod

Scantronic definately has a better rep than MDT...... :hmm:

Think he means the mosaic was a blooper. Well you cannot get everything right, lol.

Back to 9651 very easy to prog.

Sorry, I thought he was implying that the brand was "mosiac" (rock) solid

Easy programmed sounds good, has anyone any experience of using this panel with the optional scantronic built in digital communicator (as opposed to connecting it to a stand alone Texecom speech/text dialler?)

Any pros/cons with either method?

I don't know of any msg issues and I thought it was manufactured here in the uk?
