Alpat Systems
The majority of mini PTZ we've come across only have 2 inputs. Used the Bosch AutoDome Easy 2 before..... http://www.boschsecurity.us/en-us/ProductInformation/Cameras/VEZ2xx/ Samsung and Vista do a mini external PTZ too. SystemQ
Looking to install 2 x domes on a domestic. Anyone used a small PTZ dome with say 10 x Zoom, it must have at least 4 alarm inputs and if poss one output. Andy We do a mini dome with 3 alarm inputs which if 4 is needed then wouldn't fit the bill. Alternatively if you have a “favourite dome” with no alarm inputs but it does do pre-sets, we do an “alarm module” that will add alarm functionality to the dome adding up to 8 alarm inputs. Basically, you set up pre-sets in the dome you have. Fit our alarm module somewhere on the RS485 data line to the dome. Then wire your alarm devices to our module (pirs etc). When the alarm module is triggered it simply tells the dome to go to a certain pre-set set up within the dome.(just like firing a pre-set via a keyboard) Points to consider are; 1- The modules pre-sets are fixed at pre-sets 39 to 46, so make sure these can be set up in the dome you get. Alarm input 1 would trigger pre-set 39 and so on until alarm input 8 would trigger pre-set 46. 2- It has only limited protocols but most domes can do at least pelco-D which it covers. Part code is PTZ752 Paul. System Q Ltd.

Matt-B
Pelco, Vicon & Vista do PTZ domes similar size to standard vandal resistant static domes. The Vista has a 23x optical zoom too.
