May 26, 200916 yr comment_238531 Bugger I hope not, I've just forked uot for the UPS! The DVR is a Samsung Techwin SVR960. Any idea Alpat Systems? I'll have a look at the spec when I get home from work. Stick with the UPS! May 26, 200916 yr Author comment_238581 depends on your load. Have you measured it? ATM the load is about 2.5A but I will be adding cameras later on. For my PS, that Dantech site recomends a 7Ah battery, hence the NP7. May 26, 200916 yr comment_238610 Stick with the UPS! Yeah..........use 12V Lead Acid batteries to power an invertor with a 230V AC (roughly) sine wave output, then power a 12V PSU from that to power your 12V kit. Really efficient that ! I hear what you're saying but I'm thinking opening up my DVR and making electrical connections is going to have an adverse effect on the warranty.
