Just a quick question. On a multi keypad Galaxy system G2 how do you stop the keypad making the set/unset tone on other keypads (different areas) on the system

Certain i have changed this before just can't remember at present

dont think you can on g2

you can on the g3 dimension and classic.

We fitted a G2-20 in a domestic the other day with a keypad in the bedroom, ended up just muting the sounder on it through the volume control on the keypad PCB. Only trouble with that is you lose the key beep noises aswell.

Or progragm the B key to silent part set in menu 58

You could even make the B key have different options on different keypads.

Yea proper annoying. We fitted a 2-44 in our trade counter last year. One set, so no worries. Now its split up into groups, and they are complaining the chime is bleeping on group 2 kp. Did tell them we needed to upgrade, GD48 but they dint want to pay lol.
