jasongrover
Used bc stuff but not video. As for a latched output, why use one if the gates are being used that much the safety beams will hold back the gates till the last car/van passes. If you really do want to add a latched output then you may have to make up and fit a toggle switch on the handset housing. Failing that call them on 01933 405050 I support that; why are you going for it if you say that your gates gonna be busy all that long. it will be burden for the intercoms and that greatfi\ul, i think. -----------------------------
Oxo
James is correct to hold open you would need a parallel switch with the beams. (At last he understands series and parallel). AIPhone do make a handset with a spare button, however not too sure if it works on the twin wire, you may have to run another pair. Check with them. If the gates are going to be used that much go for DC motors, AC units will overheat and the thermals will cut in.
fivestaralarm
Aiphone have a huge range of audio and video entry products, which are exceedingly reliable and fully featured, in addition they make the LEF series of open voice, selectable loud to loud intercoms, these are 2 wire push to talk systems, ideal for situations where ambient noise levels are high, ie restaurant kitchens and car parks etc.
Oxo
You their rep? Are you going to demand we use the .75 molophobiaceteleyne special cable they sell for £500 per 50 mtrs or can we use some decent 0.5 And you missed the point the 2 wire needed a seperate PSU for the release and another pair for a hold open unless if course they have changed designs.
