I had a powercuttoday and the alarm is flashing outside the house but their is no mains light on the keypad. I had a look in teh cabinet but can't find any sort of reset button. Any ideas on what to do?

I am a complete non-techy. I have the battery, a 12volt 3.0Ah, rechargeable lead -acid battery. I am struggling to find an outlet to buy a replacement, or someone suitable in the Preston area that could check the charging circuit.

Any ideas or suggestions?
