just out of interest could some of the proffsionals security ppl on here tell me what they charge for a service of a alarm system, and what you do for it?

Again, make and model of control panel, number of detectors, type of detectors and configuration of system all cause variations in prices, as do regional variations.

intereseting,, nice bs.. also planty of feed back i see from the installer on here..... must be so much scamming going on, i yet to see an enginneer show how to use a control panel.. it amazes me how little ppl know.. and what so called security engineer know..

need to add two 10mm red led to and intercom systemand they must flash when door call is pressed. system type gdx3, all so need to add a release button so person can operate with out get out of there seat. whos going to try this one..

If anyone here feels the need to prove themselves i'm sure you'll get a reply, but the truth is that there are numerous members of this board more than capable of answering such easy queries. Thing is the reply will be way too technical for you to understand.

Seriousely if you don't know how to do something just ask politely. :angry:

um.. well i've yet to have complaint. i'm very polite, and i show customer what they would like to know. now i'm not having a go at any one. but what i've seen within this ind has amazed me.. just how meny ppl so what called security engineer cos they been shown how to enter engineer mode on a panel... and under go the walk test.. now if your a good engineer then i'm not saying your not. however i've come from the electronic ind and have been trained as eletronics eng. now move over to the security ind.. and what i've seen is unreal..
