Site with terrible interference
It's coax runs of no more than 25 metres per camera. I am going to test the groundloop isolators on several runs and see what happens. If all else fails I think I will try the 24V power root and use volatge converters. Thank you for the recommendation on that.

Site with terrible interference
Have you tried this from experience or is it just a suggestion? Cables do not run near any other cables or lighting.

Site with terrible interference
I have tried another wall mount power supply but with no improvement, I also switched some cameras just to see if the problem carried over but my guess would be groundloop. I was thinking of trying some groundloop isolators like these https://www.dtsdigitalcctv.co.uk/proddetail.asp?prod=CON701. Never used them before but I can't think what else might be causing it, I've ran out of ideas so maybe just clutching at straws. Any other ideas welcome.

Site with terrible interference
Good Evening, I recently took over the maintenance of a large office complex with a system of 30 cameras linked to one DVR, at least half of the cameras have interference which presents as a tearing picture in most instances. I just wondered what advice you may have for removing the problem or at least minimising it as much as possible. Thank you in advance

Things found in airing cupboards
I was moving it out of the way and grabbed the lid to move it, when it partially opened I caught a glimpse of something with fur. I could not stop myself from taking a closer look. To say I was going through their stuff would be an exaggeration!

Things found in airing cupboards
When I said box I meant it was a closed wooden box with material round it with a hinged lid. I probably should not have looked in it but curiosity got the better of me. It wasn't stuffed! It didn't really smell but it looked like it's insides had rotted first and possibly seeped out on to the saw dust it was laid on. It looked hollow.

Has HD-SDI Production Stopped All Together
I have to believe there is a future for coax based CCTV because anyone upgrading to HD now can generally use their existing coax cable network (subject to not been a poor grade of cable). This obviously saves on time, cable costs and install costs which is a win win for customers and helps keep the quotes down.

Has HD-SDI Production Stopped All Together
I have installed IP but in when a customer wants installation over coax I am leaning towards HD-CVI now. I use two distributors in the UK and there are not so many limitations with it. Do you think HD-CVI will be phased out in favor of IP?

Remote control heli..!
Never mind just a thought. Thanks Anyway, I suppose for £7 you can't expect it to be top quality. I read some reviews anyway and none too clever.

Things found in airing cupboards
A little bit off topic but I once came across a dead cat in a box in a loft which looked like it had been there for a couple of years, I just protended I hadn't seen it and didn't ask any questions. People are strange!

Has HD-SDI Production Stopped All Together
Just wondered if HD-SDI CCTV production had now completely ceased. I know it is harder and harder to source DVR's and cameras but just wanted to know if anyone had any definitive knowledge..?

Hikvision Hdtvi Any Good?
I appreciate that there will be firms copying branded units and using poor quality motherboards but as you have been to China and seen how the manufacturers work you will appreciate they are also producing products for distributors that brand them with their own name .i.e same DVR, NVR, cameras different brand.

Remote control heli..!
Can anyone advise with regards to a remote control helicopter. I have seen some available on Dhgate for about £7 per unit, I was thinking of purchasing some to sell on Ebay but I just wondered if anyone could provide some advice..?

Floureon CCTV home system power supply issues
I would bet there is an issue with your camera PSU, either insufficient consumption or more likely it has developed a fault. It won't cost the earth to replace so just swap it out and that should solve the issue.

Yorkshire Installer new to the forum.
Hello I am new to this forum and just wondered if there were any installers working in the North Yorkshire area and wondered how they had found business over the last few months?
