  1. Think its over complicated, should be able to record anything that you could see or hear without any specialist equipment Which for example means I can see and hear (usually with a window open) my neighbours in their yards, see roof (bungalow next door), but not inside their home from my own windows at my property without using any equipment. I can hear my neighbours through the wall when they raise there voices but that's rare. I can also hear people walking/ driving past if a window is open, I am no more invading their privacy, so I would say those images and audio being recorded are not an invasion of their privacyas they are publically broadcast for anyone to see or hear in the vicinity. The distribution of those images and conversations to anyone else is an invasion of privacy (my neighbour doesn't expect me to film them sunbathing in their back yard and publish on the net for everyone to see). In relation to capturing images and audio of a person or persons committing or believed to be committing a crime, the evidence should be submitted to the relevant authorities and they can deem with how that information is publically shared in order to capture/ eliminate the suspects from the alleged crimes. May be I am thinking this too simply and missing some important points.

  3. I assure you if its setup correctly it does work you may want to ask their tech guys on how to do this, I haven't used it for a very long time. May be having ago on a platform they suggest to start with just till you get your head round how it works and then apply it across.
  4. you need to ask for the simple protocol and sign an nda, if approved you would be sent the protocol.
  5. If you youre still having problems you can pm me and see what we can sort out. may be able to access remotley via cloud with cpid and the cloud password do not publish these in public.
  6. Unfortunatley you need to ask your installer to resolve this for you, its their responsability to set this up correctly. Tweaking a system and having no knowledge of that system is a very dangerous thing, you could inadvertantly make things much worse. Your fortunate that if the engineer refuses to put it right you could get someone else in to ressolve this for you at a cost as you have access to the engineers code.
  7. All these instructions are in the installation manual. The installer probably has not selected to send the cloud and FM channels at the same time and or changed the events for the users (very unlikely its the latter). If you log into your cloud online, you can set up the email address for your users, this doesnt appear to affect your FM set on the panel and will give you email notification, it will not give sms notifcations from the cloud itself. This way in the short term you will get an email for the event, the app should if logged in also get the event directly.
  8. I thougth on many dt the microwaves played havoc certainly herd of isues with devices on other sides of the wall and within a metre or so.
  9. I was recently told on a course i attended, that you can have two detectors close together and it comply as long as the paths dont overlap. so some kind of narrow curtain beam pir and a normal pir would give you a no overlap but they wouldnt overlap? whats your take on this?
