^^^ I wonder if Honeywell's or UTC's MD would give out their email address with an open invitation to use it?
I think the fact Jim has done that an Adrian's continued contribution here says something about Texecom and I say that as someone who on the whole doesn't use their products.
To make it all simple you can get your accenta and LCD keypad here www.securitywarehouse.co.UK , I still don't like texe maybe it's all the diy fittings around here ,but texe diallers are quite good
The saturation of it and the availability to Joe public are 2 of the reasons why historically we don't use it. ATS is one of the few products that isn't available online but all the other gear that was protected is freely available. Is the reality now that anyone can get anything including us as consumers?
In fairness to Tex, it is their distributors that sell it to everyone, not them. Tex don't sell direct to alarm companies.

I can't say there would be a ton of evidence to swing it massively towards one or the other. Not installed either as it's not our market space but enforcer has quite a fan base

Often something the speech dialler bridge often overlook

2 way, everytime

urn?
URN. noun. A code that used to be quoted to obtain a police response in the old days.
-
Or is it the Nigerian method? You order stuff and the police arrive?
Hilarious
-
Don't get paranoid
Remember all that gear we all used to use on 433 for years and we've all moved on to 868 leaving the old band with nothing there so interference should be naff all. Ham band down there also deathly quiet as is cb
-
So I order a prem and a galaxy arrives?
-
Maybe we should all get those 433 devices out of the shed. Apart from it being the 70 cms ham band bet nowt is there anymore.

Can you let me know about CSL before you jump in the little yellow van...?
All tests with CSL done today so we will be good for those 2 digi airs you want later this week.
-
We all need sectioning.
-
not relevant is it Matt.
we all know a proper sensor is always working properly. not all this sleep bollox etc...
It is relevant. You are saying the wireless option is substandard. Texecom detectors don't need to sleep. Mine are set to always report flawing your argument.

Halma, her from coronation St?
Aye. Got a 16m loan off Wonga to complete the deal
-
Ricochet would be my choice, but I would put pressure on you to hardwire anything you can.
I wouldn't agree. You binning your mobile in favour of a landline then?
-
Irellevant of our spending on said panels. However Matt our relationship with Texe is partly based on our loyalty to them as a panel supplier for a long long time. I am very sure they have valued our business over the years.
I'm sure they are. In fact those massive contracts of yours may have been fundamental in Halma's decision to buy them
Is there anyone on the planet that has had a long term business relationship with you?
Many. UTC probably the longest.
-
Personally I think Texe would want to know about any "faults".
I'm sure you are correct.
-
Will not be using them anymore until I get something solid sorted out.
I'm sure the loss of £200 of panels sales will slam Texecom into administration overnight
-
That's how I understood it
-
And perhaps if you were more active you could have answered sooner?
Adrains more brutal
Not hard to guess who you work for.
Risco

How important is the IP camera integration as this stipulation has just rules your list practically out and the equipment that does have that integration is very expensive and pro panels only. What do you want the cameras for? Alarm verification or CCTV?
-
The thought of you bashing anything deeply upsets me
-
Oh. So you're trained to wire up dis boards and ring mains but what you actually do is play with alarms and life safety systems?
I must remember to call the plumber next time my car has an issue. Maybe visit matalan when I want to do the food shopping.
-
Can't be a proper engineer so like gaz, lectures those that do without actually doing it themselves. Armchair experts. It's laughable. Came on here because couldn't wire up a r8 but is an expert on everything else.

datadiffusion I bet these guys havn't even filled out a risk assessment form never mind know what one is!
filling out and leaving good documentation is paramount on any job that you carry out as this not only back up yourself but also helps the next guy that jumps onto the job!, in all it's doing the best job for the client as they have to pay extra for more time taken due to **** paper work been left!
and if you don't fill out a risk assesment form before you carry out a job and you have an injury you may aswell not be insured for anything including public liability!
How's that then? My insurance policy does not place a risk assessment before each job as a mandatory requirement. I must congratulate you. Until your arrival gaz was the member who had his head in the clouds. You've got your head way above that and make union boy seem half plausible.

You have the options already covered. It's wintex or app. There is no browser based option. I am aware of other products that have this functionality but the Premier doesn't have anything to do with browsers
