  1. Not that I don't agree Adrian, I'd do the same but their argument is if they were at home they could make a meal for £2.50 but are forced to buy one for £7 as they are being forced away from home. Surprising how the offer of a couple of free pints gets volunteers to do those jobs far away.

  2. We've had discussions on various matters and he's been great but those conversations are not for here.

SW has an issue with Tex and both boss men can talk to each other who may or may not come to an agreement. If they can't then it's a gamble. If JW boycotts it (and I understand commercially why he would) then he takes a gamble IMO. If he can switch sell, James gain, Texes lost. If he can't and the customers go elsewhere because they want Tex and the other non tex gear goes elsewhere then that's Tex and distributors gain and James loss.

Whatever the outcome though it's a private issue to be discussed off fair between tex and sw.

From my POV currently if we buy tex, there's a reason which is usually mesh or ID. In my circumstances I'd have to buy Tex and avoid SW but equally people who use tex just because it's an alarm panel and don't use a specific feature then I can see how they could be switch sold another product.

  3. I'd assume (and it is assume) that as far as sales are concerned the sales director was top man for sales and as my question was about sw then I sent it to Peter. As it turned out that logical thought process didn't work quite how I'd have expected.

Also at the time I sent that email, I didn't know Jim.

Not that this is any of your business :)

  4. No need to promote anything anymore James

Get your honeywell gear right here

Actually I dont think he ever mentioned his own website though?

ATS need money like everyone else sooner or later...... No handcuffs remember

    This all public?

Yes it is and as for UTC selling to everyone because they are short of a few quid I'd check their product range and who they are before suggesting such wild suggestions.

  5. no you said the top man...you are the master of the finger thru the toilet paper..has jim seen your twiiter rant.....lol..tho i must say jim adrian is a credit to your company top man

When you say top man, he is the managing director. Peter is the sales director, there is technical but generically speaking if you say top man this infurs md.

Don't try picking a fight just because it's me or save it for the other side :)

  6. the one who wouldnt return your emails and the one you slated on this forum.....class im going to co-op for 4 cans

No, that was his sales director Peter Harries who reads emails and doesn't even bother to acknowledge them or respond to them. Different when NSI ignored his emails when beating the drum for optex. Jim is the polar opposite. I did slate Peter, correct and I stand by that slating and haven't changed my views on the guy one bit.

  7. Well, yes it looks like I did. I meant no harm, but ignorance of the law is no excuse. Really sorry. I just now found the rules and realize the mistake. Regardless, I want all of you to be able to find me, so now you can.

Interesting to see that apparently James has no problem promoting other brands, which is also against the rules. That seems to be okay.

When you next post you will be able to receive PMs on the forum or you could just update your signature strip with details in as Adrian does which isn't against the rules :)

  8. but he's the gaffer its his rules so rules dont apply, one benefit of being the gaffer i supose

Rules have to be fair and universally applied. I thought with your 'beliefs' you'd understand that.

you wouldn't say that in an independent scotland...

to add isnt texe jim the man matt was trying to contact?

    No?
