local firm to us, considered using them but seems like moving voip providers could be a pita?? I know it doesn't matter where they are but I'm a strong believer in using local!

You're claiming approval for something which you're not entitled to claim approval for. That's deceptive. You're claiming you've been established since 1989 which isn't correct. You personally may have been in the industry since 1989 but WSS has not been established since 1989 - it's a play on wording and you know it. It's deceptive.

not doubting that but in that case you should know better. it's deceptive and wrong and it undermines the effort we put into running legit firms with plenty of w@ankers out there taking already trying to take food from our mouths.. this forum of full of guys who actually give a sh!t about what we do do please correct the wording. I genuinely hope you hang around...

Hi, "WSS are an approved installer of Intruder Alarm Systems we supply and install home alarm system,s in Rochdale and surrounding areas since 1989 specialising in home burglar alarms and CCTV system for domestic commercial also industrial premises. " Can't see who you're approved by (you don't who up on NSI or SSAIB) and if you've only just started then how have you been established since 1989?

we're flat out most of july (which is our inspection month) so called ssaib to get a date sorted out... that was 2 weeks ago and no one's called - i must be the only person calling them asking them to come and they can't even call back.

We didn't apply to NSI in the first place Matt, went straight for SSAIB because it was the easy option. Now we're better established and understand what we're doing I feel we are in a better position to apply for NSI. Agree but I'd be happier if we were NSI lol, yes... although I do drive a skoda?

We're SSAIB and sometimes I get asked whats the difference between SSAIB and NSI. Here's what I say "not much really, just 2 different inspection bodies".. which satisfies most. When we have NSI Silver my answer will change to "SSAIB is easier to get and as an NSI approved company we have to work much harder to prove we meet the standard".. When we're Gold my answer will be "We are the best local firm you'll get around here"..

I can't think of anything worse than an insiders guide on how to do our job which will be available to all and sundry on eBay/down the pub etc.. Why help all the plumbers and car washers steal our business??
