Screwfix plus others do stackable plastic boxes, Euro boxes i think they call them, got a few in the garage.
-
We've used heavy duty plastic/polyprop sheet 10mm for mounting cameras before, it would probably do what you want and can be got by the sheet, but it gets expensive quickly IIRC.
-
As above, lots of builders do it as the applicants info is made public.

TBH TG has been **** for a while...
True, despite being "an institution" it was long overdue a change in format.
I still bought the mug though:

I was reading about a copy Porsche yesterday too, apparently BMW also failed to stop production of a copy X5.
I read that too, apparently the X5 copy was hideous but still better than the origional.

Enforcer does monitor low battery faults. We had an issue a few years ago where it could be missed, but that was addressed.
Got any more info on that Jim - manufacture dates, etc?

Welcome.
And, brace yourself....

I'm building up my fire alarm customers up over the past 2 years and has gone really well. I installed some and kept the service contracts ever since for 4 visits a year. One of them i test weekly. Where in the electrical Game do you get that? I have worked booked for the year in advance!!
I run a professional outfit and it's wasted on electrical work at times. For example what is the maximum i can charge for putting up a light really. To be a Approved NIC EIC contractor you dont have to be a professional operating business. But you want to be NSI WITH BAFE you need to be of a different level of business, which is where i want to be.
I think you make a mistake to use the fire sector as a yardstick for the security industry!
As for NSI and building up a business etc Id say you're 20 years too late.

You don't get this **** with wireless.

Thanks, looks like I'll get one ordered.

Choose a reputable local installer and they will be have systems which they support.

System Q (theres a clue in the topic title) Imran, my price is circa £100.00
Ive never used them Rich. Someone mentioned them before said they were good value I think it was Jeff
Thanks Pete.
System Q are reliable and will help you with the install if you get stuck... I installed one from Kew Electrical which was fine, it was a kit that came with a maglock so you can wire it out for remote door release. 2 way audio & 1 way video, nice IP rated buzzer, price was around £150 I think, but can;t vouch for the one from SystemQ, got a link? (your image didn't work) or just type in the product code I'll look it up.
VDP500
Im particularly interested in the external unit quality - ruggedness, camera picture quality etc, and the monitor quality - no good if its too fragile, wall mount options, etc.

Agreed, it's a 17th edition thing iirc.
