I can't comment on pricing, but if someone walked in and said here's my shopping list surely the sales manager would be daft to turn them away.

No the zone list was clear - blank - default - INTRUDER and showed Tamper O/C - but I cleared them. I couldnt clear the LineFaults.
so its a new defaulted panel with 2 users still progd in

Not sure if its of any help to those still reading but I have just copied off the users list and it had a couple of users in the system still.
Im guessing that Mike & Claire no longer needed their system for some reason and that ties in with the paypal details.
The zones list was clear though.
really all the zones were still in and you only have 2 faults when coming out of eng mode

I have to disagree on your disagree 95% of fa's in my experience were from detection normally one trip,misops be it on entry or exit were a small part

i agree with arfs welsh brother,misops on entry do cause fa's but the majority were single trips from pirs for no reason,confirmed alarm seen to that not fobs

This has being going on for years, back in 95 i had the 'van' (estate car) broken into, they were like 'so what'.
i had the same when they nicked my ladders and steps,didnt notice when i came back from a midweek game,only next morning when i thought van looked a bit different,tbf they came out that night and done door to door,as its a public service they can only do what they can do with the cuts now

a simple action to site of an engineer on site pin or programming on signal would sort that out,most engineer codes are known by other alarm co's it isnt a problem unless its given to customers

im sure we have both done takovers where the customer had no idea a lot of it was spared off
sick off? the customer is aware?, not usually
ive spent days and weeks in one case doing a takeover when crashing was the only option,much rather have a eng code to see what is what first rather than crash for crash sake

id still default wouldnt trust the outgoing firm as being any good, thats probably why its a takeover. Im sure you have seen spared of circuits on yours.
the opposite,if its spare and no paperwork put it back in and see what happens,sick of the what do you mean its not on it should be question from a customer

why you have the code,you can look at prog and rewrite spec,as opposed to crash a panel with no spec you dont know users or set up,fine on 6 zones
