ok got this wireless alarm fitted to my house anf the main unit has been flashing as battery low on number 2 sensor, so i changed the batteries but now the main unit is flashing number 2 and the tamper light is flashing.
in the manual its states the tamper button is flashing due to a unit being tampered with (must be the one i changed the batteries on)
but says i must contact the alram company???
its making a beeping noise every now and again

anyone got any ideas before i hit it with a hammer

Possible that the device needs programming back onto the system,that's why alarm technicians are fully trained in their field-unlike people who change batteries in their sky remote!.

Check the detector lid is on correctly

you being a bit off there???

as for the lid its all on ok, its was installed by the pervious house owner and ive never used it so have no idea how it works

Try trying to set it and unset it, the panel may not of realised that the lid has been put back i.e it got the signal to say you had tampered it but didnt get the signal to say you had untampered it

If that doesnt work then go look at the bellbox outside to find out the name and number of the installer
