"18 year old panel" .... difficult question, but I'm going to stick my neck out and say, "Yes after 18 years its time for a newer model".

Its a rebadged Scantronic, 9100 I think if I remember rightly.

The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct!

(Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not)

Correct, ATG MX 48 it should be badged as but it's a 9100 thru and thru. so therefore bullet proof :)

Virtually any modern bell box can be attached to it. :)

The old saying dont make them how they use to.

Whos got the oldest panel then?

I still look after a couple of series 80 panels. (one with redcare)

Apart from a few batts and contacts over the years it's still faultless and an occasional going over with the relay file keeps it ticking along nicely. :)

come across the odd old bentley keyswich panel now and again though.

Customer can't even change user codes without engineer attendance ... bin it!

Wouldn't that be a chargeable call :hmm:

Just because it isn't the "latest and greatest" dosen't mean it's unreliable or should be replaced.

As long as it is functional and does what the customer wants then what's the problem with them?

Anyway, the 9100 is a legend in it's own lifetime.
