Defaulting My Panel

Featured Replies

i dont understand that attitude...what if the customer said they would sign up there and then..non contract customers pay more and wait longer but should still get a visit...
They pay for one year in advance because they need to and then are feckin usless after that. We need guaranteed income to pay our salaries. I dont have part time staff we comit. so i need customers that comit up front. Not when the bell starts ringing at 3 am. How many times do you get this type when your on call "can i pay you cash and lets not tell the company" ive seen this done in the past and the misserable fccks are the first to ring two years latter and drop the on call eng in the sh1te (yes it was me).

Hello, I see that kka has started a debate on contract and non-contract customers. Can we get back to the main topic please :) .

That

If you won't tell us what panel you have how are we supposed to help you?

the whole topic is pointless without it.

Hello, Sorry I forgot to mention that alarmgard helped me a bit through the pm system.

Before its forgotten about I was just wondering what Lurch meant by this

I thought the engineers code was the only bit you wanted to change? :wacko:

Er, ok then. :ninja::P

I'm really really intrigued now though......

Is there another way to reset the engineers code if the original code is forgotten without defaulting the panel? Since theres no mention of this in the installation guide.

Also some programming questions i have

Rearm

0 = Never y

1 = Once

2 = Twice

3 = Three times

4 = Always

Would option 4 be fine.

External sounder delay

0 = Nil y

1 = 1.5 mins

2 = 3 mins

3 = 5 mins

4 = 10 mins

5 = 15 mins

6 = 20 mins

7 = No duration

Keep the default.

Ext. sounder duration

0 = Nil

1 = 1.5 mins

2 = 3 mins y

3 = 5 mins

4 = 10 mins

5 = 15 mins

6 = 20 mins

7 = No duration

Would option 6 be right?

Thankyou :)

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
