Well i would have said the same, but smoke detectors on a intruder is this possible under the new regs.

6-8 Pirs doesnt seem much for a warehouse the size of a football pitch.

if it's a building the size of a footy pitch then it's going to need a seperate fire system that with the fact that it will also come under fire precautions in the workplace act which by law will need a fire system.

My personal opinion is that intruder should do intruder and fire should do fire not both on anything bigger than a small house,although if a house up here is bigger then 2000m2,it needs a part 1 fire system.Usually L3.

Got the job and fitting intruder only.
