ADEMCO
I have fitted a veritas 8 alarm pannel with an A1 bell box to our house with pirs and mag contacts, all works well. But we live in a very rural area and have noticed that most houses have an extra cylinder type sounder fitted outside. They make a continues sound like on a quarry. I would like to fit one to my system and wanted to know if it is possible with the veritas 8 and where to get one from.
Smart Electrics
Hi Ademco. And welcome. Sounds like a master Blaster. I do believe you can only get these trade they are Mains 230AC powered.
breff
It definately sounds like a masterblaster, they are continuosly powered by mains voltage and use 12v to activate, they can be fitted to any panel using 12v+ and bell switched -. The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! (Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not)
