February 12, 200917 yr comment_224460 keypad was dead and the alarm was going off. then I input the customer code and the keypad came back to life and the alarm went off. Not sure what is going on. It might come on again in a minute ! February 12, 200917 yr comment_224461 You may well have altered the panel programming, my recommendation is to call a local engineer to check and reprogramme the system - IMO if you do not do this you can have no confidence in the system. February 28, 200917 yr comment_226792 Hi All, I have recently moved in to a house with a Concept 6 burglar alarm. When I turned the power on, the alarm was activated. I have no codes so all I could do was detach the live wire so I could turn the power to that MCB back on again. It is a long shot but how do I reset the alarm to stop it going off and how do I put in a new pin code? Many thanks. Ninja. February 28, 200917 yr comment_226797 Sorry but when you say detach the live wire.........its not the mains feeding the control panel ??? because you have turned the mains back on leaving the wire live in the control panel. This could result in a fire!. I would get an engineer in asap to get the problem sorted plus turn the MCB of pronto. There should be a 3 amp fused spur feeding the panel so if you took the fuse out this then that would be ok. !
