Hi,

 

Need some help. Had a working alarm for may years with no issues. Added a new PIR to a new bedroom (zone 9) and garage (zone 10) but keypad kept coming up with "Call engineer to reset system" and "zone 9 tamper". No issues with zone 10.

 

Tried entering user code and pressing the reset button but this did nothing. Even tried with engineer/master code but still nothing.

 

I've defaulted the panel and it still says system alerts and the date, zone 1 tamper, zone 2 tamper, call alarm com for service.

 

Bit stumped on what to do next, as you you can probably tell in not a pro. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Well defaulting the panel will mean you need to reprogram everything from scratch so I'd start there...

Maybe concentrate on removing what you did and getting it working again if your not sure?

Wired incorrectly is likely for Zone 9 but you don't say what they are wired into.
