Honeywell Galaxy Door Control Module and 3rd Party Readers

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have any experience with configuring a Galaxy panel and C080 Door Control Module using 3rd Party readers? I've got a customer who has an extensive PAC Access Control System on their site and they want to use PAC credentials to set/unset an alarm. My question is - can I use PAC GS3 (Multi Technology) readers directly on a C080 DCM to set/unset, or do I have to install a whole PAC Controller and then link it to the Galaxy? Any advice would be most welcome. Neither Honeywell or PAC have been able to help.

Just guessing, experts will be along soon

If there have readers fitted , doesn't the system already have a controller with programmable outputs?
