how to remove tamper light on gardtec 300

Featured Replies

We had a decorator in today and he must have knocked against our alarm and we now cannot set the alarm or get the tamper light off.   We have tried putting our code in several times  (normally if we put our code in 3 times it resets the alarm) unfortunately we cannot find the manual - can anyone help please as we live in an area where we really need an alarm

Check all your devices , they should all have tamper protection , make sure the covers are on straight , he may have knocked a pir or keypad. Your system won't arm with a tamper fault.

Decorator removed or bent something and didn't tell you

But this is normal , why ca the alarm guy to remove equipment so you can decorate and pay to put back

Other option is get better decoator

I have known old passives to have there tamper switch go faulty if they get knocked a little.
