Then why did you cancel the contract? If it goes wrong you're not covered, ADT generally dont fit external sounders so if you have a burglary, no one will hear it.

Still need a working alarm just don’t need the monitored service.

Just cancel the monitoring and keep the contract then

Not sure what you mean. I have had the system for over 18 months. Contract ended was continuously rolling. I cancelled the monitoring. Don’t think there is any other options ADT offer.

Have you asked them?

No, Thanks I will ask, I didn’t think there was such an option and surprised they didn’t go through this when they completed cancellation, but will give it a try.

There are people on here who work or worked for ADT they will be able to let you know if its possible. If they dont do it then they are missing a trick

Your still going to need it servicing even if you don't have monitoring. The batteries will need replacing for a start.

If ADT won't do maintenance only for whatever reason, it would be a good idea to find an installer that works with Visonic to take it over.

Defaulting without knowing what your doing is asking for trouble, your going to have no alarm system. We also don't provide defaulting information or manuals here.
