For many yrs I've mail merged a word doc from Alarm Master & sent either a word doc or pdf of the  word doc as an attachment to an email to order signalling accounts

 

The other week I had a digiair order bounced back & a new excel order form sent with a request to reorder

 

new form - 17092017 Aim Excel Doc.xlsx

 

old form - 17092017 Old Aim Word form.doc

 

I'm a bit lost to how I can make the new form work for me as well as the old form?

 

I was thinking on making a new word doc that look the same  as the excel doc & putting drop down fields where needed, but sound like a fair bit of work ?

 

Any hints or tips, or do you have a suitable form I could steal ?

When dealing with AIM you often get the feeling they're not sure what there doing...

 

Not knowing AM well, I assume there is no other format to export the data you need from AM?

 

Copying there form into a document should be straight forward.

 

I imagine they would require there spreadsheet back in the format they provide otherwise I fail to see the point of them changing it and refusing the old.

If you send a PDF or doc copy of the new form to them completed and it bounces back, you know what to work on before wasting your time.

there's loads of different digiair types on the spreadsheet

I've other digiair to order so will print the form as a pdf  & see if it gets done
