The browser method offers push notifications???

No, but you could set to Auto refresh, although we wouldn't recommend this. We are working on some more efficient ways of getting notifications into the browser.

This can lead onto another topic, which is alarm handling. Let's be clear now, CONXTD is not and never will be an alarm handling package like Bold, Sentinel etc. It's an end user notification tool.

So does the app need to be open for push notifications to be seen?

also are the notifications a splash screen when the phone is locked like a text or is it an email?

Also, can you still use the galaxy gx app or texecom app with a nano for udl and monitoring for instance with the contxd app subscription?

CONXTD does not need to be open to receive notifications, and yes it does provide banners on a locked screen when an event occurs.

In respect of the Galaxy and Texecom App, we have looked at both and at present they are not supported.

UDL however, via RSS & Wintex certainly is supported.

Thank you for you reply, very informative and has cleared up some of my questions

No problem, I'll post some screen shots later when I have some time.

I was thinking more of an API to allow third party written software to receive notifications.

Yes, we have what we call our 3rd party interface for cloud to cloud connectivity. So information we are holding on the platform can be delivered to other applications.

Hi Jim Carter

Just one more question, I see the nano includes something for the first year. Not sure how much I can say openly. Is this the cost for udl or conxtd or something else?
