Hi .can someone help please as I've not come across this fault before.

I have a menvier T690R fitted with 14 wireless  zones but it's coming up with low battery on zones 16 and 22 which are unused zones.

I tried to contact cooper- menvier earlier on today only to be told they don't support this panel any longer so any help would be great full

Its an ancient panel that runs on 433Mhz, however, interference or not, it seems odd that an unused zone can alarm...

I would suggest a complete factory reset and reprog, sadly :(

So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands

Thanks for that ,that's what I had in mind to do,so I'll just write the bullet and default it.

I have had this fault before and after re programming the system all was fine until 3 months later when it happened again.

I would suggest an upgrade to a newer panel.

What's his best option as a striaght swap

Nowt as it's an obsolete 433mhz scanny wireless based panel.

I can't even recommend upgrading to newer Eaton stuff because the shape of the devices has now changed and still only 1 way...

Texecom Elite Ricochet every time. I'd steer clear of the wireless external sounders though. I've had a couple of problems with them. The Texe keypads look very Menvier, so you won't need to decorate:) Jim
