Wiring: Guardtec 350 to Honeywell AG6 bell box problem

Featured Replies

Good Day to you Gents,

In a bid to save money, I decided to repair my home alarm system and replace the exterior bell sounder. Having done a bit of research, I wired the new Honeywell AG6 Bell system up as indicated in the picture attached,  however I am now unable to set the alarm as the 350 Panel LED indicates "tamper".  Could any of you please you have a look at the wiring to see where I have gone wrong and offer any advice?  I have attached a picture of the old bell box wiring setup which I took prior to removal. On the AG6 bell I have not wired in the white

You need to show a pic of how its wired into the panel along with the new bell, the old bell wiring is irrelevant

original bell would have never work correctly (tamper return)

new is wired in different colours to the old bell

advice ? wire it up to match the controls....
