April 20, 201610 yr comment_445018 If it has been like this for a while it may have damaged the charging circuit, what is the voltage on the leads without the battery connected Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/40023-false-alarms-on-optima-xl6/page/2/#findComment-445018 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 April 20, 201610 yr comment_445025 probably the battery, but running it so low can damage the panel. just run without the battery connected and does it still false alarm? I suspect not. Then replace the battery and see what happens, if it messes up again then replace the panel. June 6, 201610 yr comment_447097 From that description it could be many things my guess would be that the charging circuit did get damaged from the earlier problem, I would lay money that your new battery is not charging. check the voltage Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/40023-false-alarms-on-optima-xl6/page/2/#findComment-447097 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
