Accenta G4 Multi Keypads

Featured Replies

Hello all, I have an accenta g4 system up and running.  However when I try and wire a second keypad to the panel (have checked the wiring about a million times!) at power up the keypads just show a version information and accept no button pushes? Alarm also going off.  Any ideas? Manual says I can have multiple, so a bit lost !!   Thanks in advance for any ideas...

Hello, not familiar with the panel but I'd assume they are addressed, have you set the addresses correctly?

No addresses.  You wire the tamper in series on all the panels and the rest parallel connections (sound, + - Comm)

Have you swapped keypads to prove it's not a faulty one?

Yes, I haved.  Tried both as the single keypad and bot work.  Tried a fob one also and same failure.. Thanks for the response

Is it the LCD version keypads ? I beleieve the LCD will work on some of those panels but display info and have certain funstions only and if you have a panel that needs the led keypad you must have one of those to see what your doing , at least it's what I saw on one system
